Mio Yamato
Yamato has devoted herself to a series called “Repetition”, the works of which are made by the repetition of her simple body actions such as an accumulation of dots with oil or a pile of lines with ink all by hands. Yamato embodies a concept of the time’s flow in canvas and that creates unforeseen but still organic and familiar images on the surface as a result. Through the process, Yamato tries to visualize sublime rules and systems of nature like the tree forms its own growth ring gradually.
Paramodel Yasuhiko Hayashi
Yasuhiko Hayashi is an artist based in Kyoto, born in 1971. Hayashi has joined many projects such as exhibitions in Museums and art festivals as a member of Paramodel, which is an artist group with Yusuke Nakano. Using mass-produced goods such as industrial tools and toys, Hayashi assembles all the small parts together and rebuilds them as hyper minimalised structures representing the human agency in our modern era.
